With savings of up to $2,800 per couple, Travel Dynamics hopes to increase early bookings amongst travel agents and consumers on West African voyages

Travel Dynamics International, a leading operator of high-caliber educational and cultural small ship cruises, has announced free airfare from New York for all its West African itineraries. Providing savings of up to $2,800 per couple on a first-come, first-serve basis, the promotion is intended to increase early bookings amongst travel agents and consumers.

“Free air is very compelling, providing agents a wonderful tool to entice clients and close sales in a highly competitive market” says Dale Woods, Manager of Business Development at Travel Dynamics. “This offer is the perfect complement to our West African itineraries, and will help agents make their clients’ dreams of visiting West Africa a reality.”

Travel Dynamics is offering three unique West Africa cruises in 2013. Travelers may book a 34-night Grand African Voyage encompassing the entire West African Coast from Malaga, Spain to Cape Town, South Africa, or one of two shorter 17-day segments between Malaga and Accra, Ghana or between Accra and Cape Town. Individuals booking the 34-night Grand Voyage will enjoy additional savings of up to ten percent. Travel Dynamics is also waving Single Supplements for all West African itineraries.

“This is an epic voyage to an ‘undiscovered’ Africa, an Africa most travelers will never visit. We have been sailing along Africa’s West coast for six years, and this is an astonishingly rich voyage far beyond the ordinary,” says Vasos Papagapitos, Co-President of Travel Dynamics International. “We’re looking forward to the continued support of travel agents in selling our West Africa itineraries, and providing them yet another reason to introduce their clients to Travel Dynamics.”

West Africa, in addition to offering excellent natural history activities and wildlife viewing, is home to the continent’s most vibrant and interesting culture. Highlights include the wetlands of The Gambia and their rich birdlife; Sierra Leone’s Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary; Ghana’s historic Castle Coast and Kakum National Park, with its extensive rain forest; the rich craft markets of Dakar and Accra; the traditional villages of Lake Togo; the fishing town of Ganvie in Benin, entirely built on stilts; the idyllic islands of Sao Tome and Principe; and Namibia’s dramatic Namib Desert, the most ancient desert in the world.

Voyages will operate between January and March 2013, with the first cruise sailing out of Malaga on January 15. Rates for the 34-day voyage start at $27,995 per person, and for either of the two 17-day segments from $14,495 per person.

The ship for this voyage is the CORINTHIAN, served by 67 experienced European officers and crew. This gracious, comfortable ship accommodates 100 guests in 50 suites measuring 215 square feet or more. All suites are exterior-facing and have a sitting area or separate living room, spacious closets, air-conditioning, satellite TV with DVD/CD player, and a mini-refrigerator. Room service is available 24 hours a day. CORINTHIAN is equipped with a library, WiFi Internet access, two lounges with open bar service all day, dining room, two sun decks, gym/spa, swimming platform, and beauty salon. An elevator serves all decks.
